How updates work
SHA256
VERIFIED.
Each release publishes a SHA256 checksum next to the binary. On launch, Tantalum hashes its own executable and compares it to the latest published hash. If they don't match, the app downloads the new binary, verifies the hash a second time, and replaces itself on restart. You can also check manually in Settings → About.
